MORRISSEY - MAKE-UP IS A LIE - ÉDITION ZOÉTROPE

With “Make-Up Is a Lie”, Morrissey delivers one of those biting, ironic tracks for which he is known. Carried by a melancholic melody and a haunting performance, the song blends alternative pop with a sharp turn of phrase, faithful to the unique world of the former lead singer of The Smiths. On vinyl, the production lets the guitars and Morrissey's instantly recognizable voice breathe, giving full depth to this track imbued with nostalgia and lucidity. A piece prized by collectors and fans of elegant, introspective British pop.
